The narrator did refer to the ants as "ladies" but he seems to think spiders and scorpions are insects. I was fascinated by the giant hornets of Japan. They sure can decimate a bee colony in a short...

I can't tell you how unpleasant it is to turn over a rock and find a nest of wasps under it. Probably the only time I run from an insect. I can't imagine coming across a nest of those Giant Hornets on...
